Beware! Thousands of brazilian women go out there to get married in order to get a green card and all the money they can. Your life, health, self-esteem and reputation could be destroyed forever. No one will ever believe you, authorities won’t help either. It is a planned setup. Usually applied under the advice of expert lawyers. These women will accuse you of abuse once they get what they want! Don’t be a victim, for there will be no help and no way out.

Question by yummy cupcake: How can I better self esteem and be more social?
I have low self esteem & have a hard time making friends. I’m starting a new school & I wanna make lots of new friends. I am friendly. I’ll say hi and say my name & we have a good start, but then I just stop talking to them. I want to be more confident, but not cocky. I want to be social. Any tips? Websites I can go to? Or books I can read?

There’s so much out there that you could do but it dpends how you learn best. Coaching can be great as long as you find a good one.

As a starting point I’d read “Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway” by Susan Jeffers. Its a great book and one I’ve recommended to lots of friends.

Question by latehorrorsho: Is there anything wrong with basing your self esteem on being good at something?
People don’t compliment or praise personalities, but they praise talent. Sometimes they don’t make distinction between the person and the talent, so the person is worthwhile Because they have this ability. Whatever is highly valued in society people seek to live up to. So is anything wrong with basing ones self esteem on these things, such as talent?

i wouldnt have low self esteem if my man called me beautiful unless he was complimenting these women in front of you or down grading you but besides that at the end of the day he is all yours just know you or beautiful and deserve someone that loves you for who you are and it pretty much seems you have just that person. and as far as boosting your self esteem no one can tell you how to do that you have to do that you just have to love your self before anyone else can

Best answer:

If your friend has any mental problems you and your whole Army could not give him self-esteem. He must see a Doctor , like Psychiatrist for this. But, if he has no problems like that, then just do things that are esteemable, works every time.

Question by jarielt87: How to help someone with low self esteem?
How am I supposed to help this person with low self esteem that is always fishing for compliments. I don’t want to keep saying that they look good over and over but I don’t want their self esteem and confidence to get worse.

Best answer:

Answer by Ghost
Constantly complimenting someone can be awkward, but sometimes they might really need it.

Invite them places with you and make sure they’re included. It might seem like babysitting, but they’ll get over it if they can just feel wanted.

Question by : What is the difference between social anxiety and low self esteem?
Ive heard of both but i dont understand the difference…also, how can you tell them apart? As in how does someone with social anxiety act compared to someone with low self esteem?

Best answer:

Answer by Sophie
Social anxiety is a disorder where you get nervous and can have panic attacks over just talking to someone or being in a public place. They get really scared talking to someone new or anyone in general. Someone with low self esteem acts normally but is just insecure and not confident in themselves but it doesn’t affect their day to day life

Question by VanishingIntoMyOwnWorld: How do you stop hiding your emotions and heighten your self esteem?
I’ve been hiding my emotions from my family, friends, and even myself when denying emotions. I have hidden these emotions and can’t even show emotion anymore. I’m unsure of what to do. I’ve been less and less social around others and my self esteem is seemingly lowering itself. What can I do to reveal emotion and heighten my self esteem so that I’m not as paranoid and self conscious?
